Enigmata Treehouse Galeri, originally known as Tarzan's Nest Resort is situated on a hillside close to Mambajao City on Camiguin Island in Mindanao, Philippines. Home to the majestic Katibawasan waterfalls.

   We got pinned down in Cagayan de Oro waiting out the weekend for a money changer to open ... An early start and a long trip meant moods weren't too good by the time we arrived ... Typhoon Morokot was raging through the Southern Philippines while we bobbed around the high sea's on a ferry boat. Exciting times.
  Shelter at Enigmata was most welcome, hot coffee's and a shot of Rhum warmed us up after the rain stopped.

   Theres a wide variety of home cooked food from the restaurant here including an excellent Vegetarian pizza .
" We specialize in vegetarian dishes, wild spinach and fern pizza and curry. We also serve natural beverages and popular fermented beverages.
And we bake our own bread!
And we also serve your very special food preferences and needs. We've had visitors who eat only uncooked food, or who don't eat anything but squash!"
Budget meals also available at Php 75.00/meal
   We stayed in the Backpackers Room at 300 peso's per night. and The Eagles Nest at 950 pesos per night
all rooms are different styles and come with
unique Hardwood furniture.
The Guest accomadation can cater for groups of 30+
   Motorbike hire is 500 peso's for a 125cc Trials bike for 24 hours ... the Island speed limit is 30KM/h . The road is in perfect condition all round the Island and is a pleasure to ride on .
